Moshe Mark here. Imagine you could learn all the techniques in the Teaching of Talking on video. That’s right! From your home or smartphone you will be able to download and stream step by step videos of the techniques that are tried and true for children and adults who either are not speaking, or those who spoke but lost that ability due to aphasia and/or brain injury.
These videos will teach you step by step speech and language stimulation techniques for aphasia and developmental speech and language delay to improve the talking of your client, loved one or spouse. They are easy to learn. I am videotaping these now, and I had no idea of how to do it, nor did I know how to edit videos. You know what? I bought a subscription to lessons which I watched at home, and followed the directions to videotape and edit them. It was pretty cool. I asked someone initially to shoot and edit them for me. You know what they said? “$100 an hour to video tape each segment, and $200 to edit each one. I’m planning on shooting about 10 modules. Do the math…..
I therefore decided to do it myself, and am learning something new, and having fun. Is it easy? No; not really. I have made some really big whopper errors, like spending almost 2 days learning how to do something called sizing, but I stayed with it and now am videotaping and editing each lesson.
The point is: I just don’t want to spend that much money for someone else to do it. And if you are anything like me, when it comes to money you are very careful how you spend it!
Soon we will be pre-selling the subscription service of Teaching of Talking at a considerable discount so be watching for my e mail. (If you have not already done so please fill in the opt in box with your name and e mail on this page in the upper right hand corner. It is the box with the the red header. That way you will be alerted to the pre-release discounts.
I have found videos can greatly supplement any book. You can actually work right along with the video and can stop and start it again, as you learn in each technique.
Well, I must get back to work now. Be on the lookout for more information which will come to you soon! Please share this with friends on Twitter and Facebook.
