ABOUT THE AUTHOR

About Moshe Mark Ittleman, M.S., CCC/SLP
Senior Speech Language Pathologist, Author and Lecturer.

He is world famous for developing methods of speech and language therapy/speech and language stimulation for those with mild to profound speaking difficulties that include aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, swallowing and voice disturbances. He is internationally recognized for creating an innovative way to address speaking difficulties for those with aphasia by not only training them but also instructing any willing participant who may be a friend or family member or an individual who resides in the household. The methods that he teaches have shaken the world of aphasia and speech disturbances and changed the way an entire health care industry viewed problems in talking. The name Moshe Mark Ittleman is synonymous with Teaching of Talking and the major shift in how speech therapy for aphasia is addressed worldwide.

Moshe Mark has developed the method, training materials and techniques that enable everyday people to start their own speaking improvement programs at home and entirely alter the way therapy is practiced. Moshe Mark  has worked in some of the best rehabilitation hospitals in the United States. He has the uncanny ability to  instantly identify distinctive patterns of speech that could readily be improved. He also develops easy and relatively simple approaches to improve them and teaches those to the caregiver or care partner.

He believes many individuals with aphasia will eventually rejoin the ranks of the speaking world as more and more therapists and family members adopt and use the Teaching of Talking method.
